About Philippine Spark Security Infoplant Corporation (PSSIC)

Philippine Spark Security Infoplant Corporation (PSSIC) is a secured research & development hub, card manufacturing, security printing and personalization plant located at Carthel Compound, San Vicente, San Manuel, Tarlac—an area that is free from traffic, flood and other common tropical conditions that may disrupt business operations. PSSIC has a total of available developable area of 16 hectares (160,000 sq.) that has 24/7 security where in only authorized personnel can have access to. It has the most advanced technologies in the manufacturing and printing industry.

The Plant has the highest physical and information security standards and will be the largest card manufacturing and personalization bureau in the country.

The facility is designed to cater to about 100 million customers in the Philippines and its neighboring countries.

OUR HISTORY

PSSIC traces it roots to Spark Global Tech Systems Inc. (SGTSI), an IT company with cards and personalization services, established in June 2015. A partnership agreement was also established with DPTF (Toppan Forms Thailand) to exclusively
carry and distribute its EMV and card products in the Philippines.

In 2017, SGTSI and Toppan Security Printing Pte. Ltd. (Toppan) entered into a memorandum of agreement for SGTSI to exclusively distribute and resell Toppan’s Full range of digital security related products and services covering the planning, design, issuance of smart IC and security printing related products such as ePassports, eCovers, EIF, bank cards, transportation cards, gift cards, banknotes, RFIDs, holograms, protection labels, card and passport printers and its related accompanied software solutions.

In June 2018, key officers of SGTSI incorporated PSSIC to take on the challenge and opportunity in chip manufacturing, data personalization and security printing with the vision of becoming the LARGEST, most SECURED and most ADVANCED security printing facility in the country in terms of size and production capacity. In August 2018, Toppan became a stakeholder of PSSIC thru an investment of its resources, products, machineries and technologies.

In January 2020, SGTSI transitioned all its clients to PSSIC to cater to their printing needs.

To date, PSSIC has been partnering with the National Printing Office for its Printing Capacity Augmentation Continuity Program (Phase II) for different government agency printing projects..
